My name is Sydney Layton, and I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University on December 17, 2016.

I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in Johnson City, Tennessee.

I graduated, with a bachelor's degree in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education along with two minors: Special Education and Human Development & Family Studies.

Since graduating, I worked for Johnson City Schools as an RTI Tutor at Indian Trail Intermediate School. I have been teaching third grade in Harrisburg School District since August of 2018.

I have completed my ESL certification courses and am working towards a master's in Mental Health Practices in Schools from the University of Missouri.
